No Picture Restrictions!

With all of the advertising websites we do business with the number of pictures varies from site to site. Because of this Dealer Solutions has no restrictions on the number of pictures you want to display on your dealership website. Most dealers prefer 9 or 12 but we can increase that number if you plan to use more. Just ask and we will accommodate!

Craigslist RSS Feeds

Do you post on Criagslist and have a website? If so Dealer Solutions Software now has the ability to link your posts on craigslist.com directly to your website to help offer more vehicles for sale and to display additional vehicles on each vehicle description page. Dealer Solutions Software Announces Carfax Partnership

Dealer Solutions Software, a dealer management software for used car dealers,  announces a new partnership with Carfax vehicle history reports.  Dealer Solutions website customers can now provide their customers with free Carfax reports or allow the customer to easily pull a Carfax report.  To use, all the customer needs to do is click on the “Check Vehicle Report” link on the inventory page or vehicle detail page.  Soon, Dealer Solutions customers will be able to pull Carfax reports directly from their software.  (This capability is already available with AutoCheck.)

I want to go ahead and open the blog to those who are currently in the hunt for a car dealer software program, known as a Dealer Management Software program.

For those who are just opening up and starting a used car dealership, or possibly those who already have a car dealership and are just looking to update their software, take note on blog. I am going to go through the key things to look for when making that purchase.

What to look for when purchasing Car Dealer Software:

1. Does is stay COMPLIANT
There’s no bigger issue with car dealers today then there is with the issue of compliance. All car dealers must know the rules and regulations set forth by your state and federal government. Now what makes things interesting is the fact that without an association like (in our state, the CIADA) or a national association, the NIADA, you would NEVER know what changes to laws or compliance issues come about. Most dealers think the DMV tells you these things so if they accept your paperwork at the tag office then you are okay…WRONG! The DMV does not regulate federal laws. You could have clean paperwork go through the DMV all day long, but if a federal agent were to come to your dealership and find missing Buyer’s Guides from the car windows you could face an $11,000 fine PER CAR.
